Action Plans
Action Plans
A Low Carbon School Action Plan has been developed for each participating school. The action plans aim to provide low-carbon strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote resource efficiency and increase the green cover in the schools. The actions also aim to increase the capacity of students and school staff on climate-conscious and sustainable development. The strategies follow a data-driven and evidence-based approach through a comprehensive sectoral review, performance benchmarking, GHG emissions inventory, and stakeholder consultation. The strategies proposed are effective and have demonstrated impacts globally.
